This blog is being created to share some of the incredible moments shared by the Conesus Squatters Golf League at Conesus Golf Club and to encourage anyone who has always wanted to try golf but was toooooo afraid. Last year we decided to start a new golf league at the Majestic Conesus Golf Club (a little plug for ya Kev) . It was our goal to have everyone enjoy and learn without feeling the pressure of golf itself and I think we were quite successful! I will be posting more history of this league with some pics later, just wanted to get it up and running before the season began! So welcome back all you squatters, the squatter supporters (you know who you are) and any wanna be squatters come on down.

The weatherman is forecasting June temperatures mid to the end of the week. Get out of hybernation, put the snow suits away, dust off your clubs and Barb and I hope to see some of you at the course. PS. T Bell it will be warm enough to wear shorts.

Otis was absolutely right with his weather prediction! T. Bell was sportin the shorts! Saw the tang in the parking lot, but not the Otis and Barb. Billy Bob, Dougro and Dawn, whacked it around on Saturday, Gailie was our athletic supporter, as she is currently on injured reserve for a couple more weeks. Jess, Hulbert and Leverson where out and about...nice rug Leverson! Mikey still hangin on to the facial hair.....Great weekend for golf! Thanks Shawn for linking us up!

ReplyDeleteOur mtg on the 27th was great cause we found that we had 6 new members!There really are more gals that want to have "Squatter" fun, welcome aboard girls.It was cold, however 8 of us did golf.Heard from one of the men(whom didn't golf...to COLD!)that they called us the HEADLIGHT League as we ventured out!Never the less we had a typical "Squatter" fun 9 holes!
